Dr. Murniati Mukhlisin, M.Acc. Rector, Tazkia University College of Islamic Economics, Bogor, Indonesia alongwith other staff visited department of Economics on Wednesday 13 December 2017. In this regard, the department arranged an interactive discussion session over a formal dinner with the delegates. All the teaching faculty participated and exchanged their views.
Department also held a seminar session for the students on December 14, in which Dr. Murniati discussed about Islamic Economics, Finance, and Accounting in Today’s World. The discussion revolved around the Islamic microfinance and how it can play an important role in the empowerment of SMEs & low income societies. Faculty members and students’ interaction was appreciated by her and she distributed few souvenirs among the students for productive questioning. Later, Chairperson Mrs. Kalsoom Zulfiqar presented department’ souvenir to Dr. Murniati as an appreciation for her visit to the department.
